Dave and Marianne's Climb for Clean Air with the American Lung Association
We are excited to be participating in the Climb for Clean Air, a program helps bring greater attention to and fight the increasing air pollution in Washington State. Our goal is to educate ourselves and those around us about the benefits of protecting the air we breath not just for us - but for future generations, while attempting to summit one of the greatest peaks in North America. Without clean air, our view of this great mountain WILL slowly diminish over time.
We are going a great RAFFLE! Grand Prize is 2 nights stay at wonderful Halvorsen House B&B on San Juan Island (valued at $220.00). 10 other contributors will win a Ben and Jerry's Icecream Cake donated by the Ben and Jerry's in Kirkland, Washington. 1 Ticket $3.00. The more tickets you buy, the greater your odds are at winning!
On Wednesday May 29th we will be at the Ben and Jerry's in Downtown Kirkland on Lake Washington Blvd. with information on the Climb for Clean Air and raffle sign-up sheets from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM. Listen to KISS 106.1 on Thursday, May 23rd during the Morning Show with Jackie and Bender. They have been incredibly wonderful enough to give us some air time to promote this cause!
